I am hosting a monthly, online EMDR consultation group for psychotherapy professionals who have completed EMDR basic training and want to become a certified EMDR therapist. I am working towards becoming an EMDR Approved Consultant and am currently a Consultant-in-Training (CIT).

 

You are encouraged to bring your lunch to this virtual group. From the comfort of your home or office, we’ll share a meal along with our insights about utilizing EMDR to assist diverse clients and the problems affecting their lives.

This Lunch & Learn group will incorporate EMDR focused study as well as case consultation. Together, we’ll create a safe, relaxed, and collaborative experience, grounded in the assumption that each group member has a wealth of expertise and knowledge to share.

 

Discussions will revolve around applying the EMDR basic protocol in your therapy practice within the context of the lenses you already bring to your work. Participating in these kinds of discussions with group members, who also bring unique perspectives, will help anchor your learning, as well as expand the ways you think about and approach your EMDR practice.

EMDR Certification

​

The hours you will accumulate by attending this group can be applied towards EMDR certification. I will keep track of the hours you attend and will provide you with receipts for these monthly meetings.

 

To become certified in EMDR you need 20 hours of consultation. Of these 20 hours, you are permitted to work with a Consultant-in-Training for 15 hours, and 10 of these hours can be in a small group context.

Spots are limited - attendance is capped at 5 professionals in each group meeting. If you are interested,

Schedule: Second Thursday of the month from 12:00pm - 1:00pm EST.

 

Cost: $55CAD/$40USD per group. Payment can be made via etransfer to karma@karmaguindon.com or PayPal.
