Creating a safe, supportive space for healing from depression, anxiety, and trauma.

My Approach
I am a social worker- psychotherapist registered in both Ontario and Nova Scotia, and for more than 20 years I have had the privilege of supporting people through their journeys of healing, growth, and resilience. Over the years, I have worked with teens and adults facing a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, stress and burnout, grief and loss, trauma, and the everyday difficulties that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or stuck.

My passion is helping people move toward the life they want to live—whether that means overcoming the weight of trauma, finding healthier ways to cope with stress, or rediscovering a sense of meaning and joy. I believe that no matter how long you have struggled, healing and change are possible.

I am highly trained in a number of evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These approaches give me the flexibility to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs and goals. My focus is always on finding what works best for you, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method.
At the heart of my work is a collaborative, client-centered approach. I know that therapy can feel daunting, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly heard. I see therapy as a partnership—together we explore your challenges, your strengths, and your hopes, working toward lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.
I offer sessions online to clients across Ontario and Nova Scotia, and in person at my offices in Newmarket and Bolton, Ontario. Whether we meet virtually or face-to-face, my goal is to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment where healing can take root.
